From April – August 2023, Essential Families has been involved in a Digital Demonstration Pilot (DDP) funded by the City of Kansas City and State of Missouri.  The is the laptop pickup, computer training, save $30 on your internet workshop you registered for. 

For this timeframe, Essential Families committed to assist 94 families with laptop computers, computer training, and ACP enrollment assistance- we assisted 276 families, exceeding our goal by 294%.

Because of this accomplishment, Essential Families has received a significant grant from the City of Kansas City Digital Equity Office, with one requirement.   The City of Kansas City Digital Equity Office requires that Essential Families complete the software development to implement and support all Essential Families services, and “real time” data reporting.  

That said, Essential Families will pause all laptop pick up and training until further notice, allowing us to complete our software development roadmap.  

Rest assured, we will be back soon with our laptop pick up and trainings , and ALL Essential Families services available to you, at no cost.
