Reminders/Updates for Essential Digital Equity Workshop/Dallas County 

September 12th, 2024, 10:00am-noon

  1. Arrival time by 9:30am
  2. Everyone will arrange the room (clients should be able to see the TV or screen)
  3. Table for registration
  4. Essential Families will bring chrome books, and all materials including Verizon 5g internet. If internet connection is bad, clients will need to use their hot spots
  5. Digital Navigators are assigned an iPad to use during the workshop. Password is 123456
  6. Digital Navigators will login to their portals
  7. Registration (April) will check the clients in (Client Workshop Registration check-in, search for event date. You will see the clients name, ask for Id and select attended
  8. Clients Amanda and Jennifer registered their children who will be in school. They will provide their children’s student Id’s select attended
  9.  Eric or Christina will be the lead
  10. Eric or Christina will be the trainer/Christina will assign the clients via Digital Navigator Portal Client Guest List 
  11. Kent Digital Navigator
  12. The trainer (Eric or Christina) will have trainer laptop password 7811. Will also have an ipad for the script
  13. Essential Families will provide the t-shirts, wear blue or black jeans
  14. As clients arrive, everyone will assist clients with setting up their Chromebooks (Chromebook set up guide is inside the Digital Navigator Portal)
  15. Lead (Eric) will start the training Workshop Training by 10:15 at the latest
  16. All clients must complete the Client Feedback form and schedule a 48-hour follow-up with their assigned Digital Navigator.
