Jackson County has issued a Stay at Home Order effective 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, requiring residents to stay-at-home except for essential needs. The intent of this order is to ensure the maximum number of people self-isolate in their places of residence to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The City of Blue Springs falls under the jurisdiction of the Jackson County Public Health State of Emergency, therefore, the Stay At Home Order implemented by Jackson County Executive Frank White applies to residents and businesses in Blue Springs.
There are exceptions for travel to meet basic needs and to provide essential services. Residents may call Jackson County Health Department for additional questions at 816-881-1391.
